THE ARTIST - OMAR MIGUEL
Omar Miguel aka "El nino de la isla", (The boy from the island), was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. Omar studies Flamenco and Classical Guitarists with world renound guitar artist like, Juan Serrano, Omar Blanco, Paco Pena and Juan Diego Mateos.
Omar Miguel has composed many pieces for the guitar and has performed for numerous restaurants, events and hotels including The Gaylord Palms, The Latin Quarter at Universal Studios, EPCOT, Disney World The Bob Carr Performing Arts Center, and has toured the American gypsies flamenco dance tour, he has also performed with Raquel Tacon and her flamenco dance company. He's also accompanied Leticia Jimenez "La Canela".
Omar's music is expressive, colorful, romantic with a Spanish accent that is always passionate and exciting.
